Charlotte Says Hello
Hello, my name is Charlotte, I'm 15 and I'm doing work experience with Vinyl Guru this week so I thought I'd take the time to introduce myself to you all and tell you a bit about myself and what I do. The reason why I'm working with Vinyl Guru is because I love listening to music (especially records). I've recommended some of my favourite albums that I believe everyone should take the time to listen to here:

I'm also an independent promoter for my events company 'Fanbase Events' (@FanbaseEvents on Twitter) and I organise charity concerts for young people at Think Tank (@wearethinktank) in Newcastle upon Tyne.
On October 20th I held a gig with local band 'The Waiters' (@thewaitersoffic)
singer/songwriters Sion Jones (@SionJMusic)
and Sean Killeen (@seanykilleen) and major YouTuber Sam King (@samkingftw) as the host. There was a great turnout and everyone seemed to really enjoy the event.
Fanbase Events was Sean Killeen's first gig and Sion Jones' first gig outside of Wales. Since then, Sean Killeen has joined an international band called Over Atlantic (@Over_Atlantic) with former X Factor boyband member Charlie Jones, Gabriel Gomer, Liam Ross and Trevor Cash and is currently in LA writing and recording new music and Sion Jones has done several UK gigs and meetups, performed in Poland and is about to go on a UK tour. Sion is also working on his new EP. The Waiters have continued to gig around the UK and have a headline gig at the O2 Academy main stage on July 20th https://www.musicglue.com/thewaitersofficial/events/20-jul-16-the-waiters-summer-warm-up-o2-academy-newcastle/.
Following the success of this event, on June 1st I held my second gig with Britain's Got Talent's Bailey McConnell (@baileymac02) , former X Factor boyband Exposure , Ginger Tom (@GingerTomBand) and local singer Tarkan Basara (@_TarkanBasara) . I sold out of meet and greet tickets for this event and overall it was a great success. Sadly since then, Exposure made the decicion to split up but they are all continuing in the music industry as solo artists

On top of organising events, I also enjoy photographing my own and other companies events and I have been a volunteer photographer for large events such as Northern Pride. I'm trying to find as many volunteer opportunities in events as possible so I can get lots of experience.
When I leave school, I want to go on to study TV and Film at college and then I'd like to do a degree in Events Management. I would still like to continue Fanbase Events on top of this and my overall goal is to become involved in festival management.
